These Terms govern the consumer Infantis28 mobile application. Institutional deployments may be subject to separate written agreements.
1. Agreement and provider
Infantis28 is provided by Econalis Group LLC, doing business as Econalis Global. On Google Play, the developer may be displayed as Econalis Technologies. By creating an account or using Infantis28, you agree to these Terms and the App Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Intended users
Infantis28 is intended for adult caregivers who have legal capacity to agree to these Terms and authority to enter and manage information about the child in their care. It is not intended for children to create or operate accounts.
3. What Infantis28 provides
Infantis28 provides caregiver organisation and tracking tools, reminders, summaries, educational content, optional AI-assisted information through Ask Infantis, environmental context and features for sharing caregiver-created summaries. Features may differ by country, device, programme or subscription.
4. Health and emergency limitations
Infantis28 is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. It is not an emergency service and does not replace a doctor, nurse, midwife or other qualified professional. Seek professional care for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest appropriate health facility immediately.

5. Accounts and caregiver responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- Enter observations carefully and review information before sharing it.
- Use professional judgment and local clinical guidance rather than relying solely on the app.
- Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
- Obtain appropriate authority before adding another person’s or child’s information.
6. Ask Infantis and generated content
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or inappropriate for an individual situation. They are informational only. Do not use Ask Infantis to make emergency decisions, diagnose a condition, select medication or delay professional care.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, scrape the service, reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material, or use the service to harm a child or another person.
8. User content and permissions
You retain rights in information you enter. You give us a limited permission to host, process, transmit, display and create caregiver-requested summaries from that information only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service and as described in the App Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to provide the information.
9. Intellectual property
The app, brand, interface, software, curated content and related materials are owned by or licensed to Econalis Group LLC and are protected by law. No ownership transfers to you. Open-source components remain governed by their applicable licences.
10. Third-party services
Some functions depend on providers such as app stores, hosting, AI, analytics, error monitoring, email, weather and air-quality services. Their availability and separate terms may affect those functions. Links to external resources do not constitute medical endorsement.
11. Subscriptions and purchases
If paid features are offered, price, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase. App-store purchases and refunds are administered under the applicable Google Play or Apple terms, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, add, suspend or retire features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, particularly during connectivity outages, maintenance or events outside our control. Offline functionality also depends on device storage, permissions and prior synchronisation.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security, unlawful conduct, material breach or risk of harm. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise a particular health outcome or that information will be complete, current or suitable for every person, location or circumstance. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Econalis Group LLC and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the service. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful and does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or other protected claims.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law in your location applies. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. This clause does not remove rights you have under mandatory local law.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes where required. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Contact support@infantis28.org.
